$162,337 HELPS BUILD A STRONGER LISMORE
Ten projects in Lismore have today secured $162,337 in funding for projects through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program.
Member for Lismore, Thomas George said the State Government funds will support the great work of the North Coast National A & I Society, Wyrallah Road Public School P & C, Lismore Soup Kitchen, Bexhill Public Hall, Southern Cross Lads, Far North Coast Canoe Club, The Channon District Sporting Organisation, Whian Whian Memorial Hall, Lismore Model Flying Club and Richmond Rive Riders in making Lismore City a happy and healthy place to live.
“This is fantastic news for Lismore, this grassroots funding will directly help to create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social and recreational outcomes,” Mr George said.
“I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”
As Lismore continues to grow and develop the NSW Nationals are committed to building the halls, sports fields and facilities that will attract and keep young people in the region.
The NSW Government’s strong economic management ensures we are in a position to invest in these important local projects.

The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since it commenced nearly a decade ago.
